The Legal Web: online e-books with CPD

The Legal Web is a series of online e-books published in pdf on this site by Nick Holmes and Delia Venables. Each year we publish two new, topical and up-to-date e-books. Each e-book contains 5 chapters, with practical articles written by Nick and Delia and many other leading experts in their fields, covering all aspects of legal information and legal practice affected by the web.

Use the e-books to:

  • read on screen, with live web links
  • print off in chapters for armchair reading
  • answer a simple online test at the end to qualify for CPD

Associated with each e-book is a set of Questions which may be answered online by purchasers and submitted to earn 5 hours CPD for either the Law Society of England and Wales or the Bar Council scheme. The questions are set and marked by Delia Venables.

Each e-book costs just £50 plus VAT and qualifies for 5 CPD hours. A multiple use licence, suitable for organisations with several people likely to use the book and including up to 5 CPD courses, costs £120 plus VAT for each course. There is a special combo price for both 2007/2008 e-books of £80 plus VAT; £200 plus VAT for the multi-use licence.
