Lake District National Park Authority

Legal Services Board  

The Legal Services Board (LSB) ensures that regulation in the legal services sector is carried out in the public interest and that the interests of consumers are placed at the heart of the system. LSB is an executive non-departmental public body of the Ministry of Justice

Local Government Ombudsman  

The Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) looks at complaints about councils and some other authorities and organisations, including education admissions appeal panels and adult social care providers (such as care homes and home care providers). The service is free, independent and impartial. LGO works with the Department for Communities and Local Government

London Thames Gateway Development Corporation  

The London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC) is the government’s lead regeneration agency for east London, with the power to compulsorily buy and develop land to create new homes and jobs. The government proposes to close, merge or reform this body as part of the Public Bodies Reform Programme. LTGDC is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Communities and Local Government

Low Pay Commission
