Natural History Museum

New Forest National Park Authority  

The New Forest National Park Authority (NFNPA) conserves and enhances the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the New Forest and promotes opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the area by the public. NHS Blood and Transplant  

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) improves the supply of donated blood, organs and tissues, and raises the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of blood and transplant services. NHSBT works with the Department of Health.

NHS Business Services Authority  

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) provides central services to NHS bodies, patients and the public, such as managing the NHS pension scheme, issuing European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC), and administering payments to pharmacists and dentists. NHSBSA works with the Department of Health.

NHS Commissioning Board  

NHS England authorises the new clinical commissioning groups, which are the drivers of the new, clinically-led commissioning system introduced by the Health and Social Care Act. NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement

The NHS Institute was established in July 2005 to support the transformation of the NHS, through innovation, improvement and the adoption of best practice. It was replaced by NHS Improving Quality in April 2013.

The NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA) will be responsible for overseeing the performance management and governance of NHS Trusts, including clinical quality, and managing their progress towards foundation trust status. NHS TDA works with the Department of Health.

North York Moors National Park  

The North York Moors National Park (NYMNP) authority conserves and enhances the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the North York Moors and promotes opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the area by the public. Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission  

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission (NIHRC) ensures government and other public bodies protect the human rights of everyone in Northern Ireland. The commission has an A status accreditation from the UN and operates in full accordance with the UN Paris Principles. NIHRC works with the Northern Ireland Office

Northern Lighthouse Board  

The Northern Lighthouse Board is the General Lighthouse Authority for Scotland and the Isle of Man. It provides marine navigation aids to assist the safe passage of mariners through waters in these areas. It is also responsible for marking and dispersing wrecks which are a danger to navigation.
