Rollingsons Family Mediation Service
Rollingsons offers a family mediation service. Family mediation is a system designed to enable clients to resolve their difficulties without the intervention of the Courts. Rollingsons family mediation service is operated by Martin Chambers, a Partner in the firm and the head of its Family Department.
Martin Chambers is an SFLA/Resolution trained family mediator. He has trained as an "all-issues" mediator. This means that he can mediate in respect of relationship breakdown and/or family and property issues and/or children issues or in respect of all three. Martin Chambers is a General Member of the Law Society's Mediation Panel. Family mediation enables clients to resolve their difficulties without the intervention of the Court system.
Rollingsons offer an initial 30 minute meeting with Martin Chambers on a free of charge basis to discuss matters.
We understand concerns about legal costs and will address these with you at the earliest opportunity. We never lose sight of the emotional cost of relationship breakdowns, especially in matters involving children. For parties whose funds are tied up in the matrimonial assets, we are able to offer deferred payment schemes.
We believe firmly in seeking to retain the maximum assets within the family unit. We practice within the Law Society’s Family Law Protocol and the guidelines of “Resolution” (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). We seek to resolve disputes in a non-confrontational manner wherever possible. Where this is not possible we shall litigate firmly but fairly to ensure that your interests are fully protected.
